- Prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling over medium heat; soak skewers in water 30 minutes.
- Thread strawberries onto skewers; spray strawberries and dessert shells with cooking spray. Place strawberries on hot grill rack; cover and cook 5 minutes or until grill marks appear, turning once. During last minute of cooking, place dessert shells on hot grill rack; cover and cook 1 minute or until grill marks appear, turning once. Transfer strawberries and dessert shells to cutting board; cool slightly. Remove strawberries from skewers and quarter; cut dessert shells into 1-inch pieces.
- In medium bowl, with mixer on medium-high speed, beat sugar, butter and half & half 5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Makes about 3/4 cup.
- Alternately layer strawberries, dessert shell pieces and sugar mixture into 4 bowls; sprinkle with almonds.
