Ingredients :

  • 8 cups Best Yet Wheat Bread, cubed
  • 2 cups Best Yet Sliced Peaches, canned, water drained
  • 4 Best Yet Large Eggs, slightly beaten
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup Best Yet Evaporated Milk
  • ½ cup Best Yet Light Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup Best Yet Sun Dried Raisins
  • ¼ cup Best Yet Butter, unsalted, soft
  • ½ cup Best Yet All-Purpose Flour
  • To taste Best Yet Light Whipped Cream

Directions:

  1. Lightly oil an 8″ x 8″ baking dish or 2-quart casserole.  Add bread cubes and peaches.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine eggs, water, evaporated milk, ¼ cup of sugar, and raisins.
  3. Gently pour it over the bread cubes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350F
  5. In a small bowl, mix ¼ cup brown sugar, butter and flour with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle it over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Serve warm topped with light whipped cream.
