Taco Puff Pastry Tarts

Ingredients :

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, defrosted
  • 1 ½ cup ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped a
  • ½ cupBest Yet® Whole Kernel Sweet Corn
  • Best Yet® Family Favorite Taco Style Seasoning to taste
  • 1 cup Best Yet® Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:

  1. On medium-high heat, preheat the large non-stick pan. Add onion and ground beef, and sauté them until the beef is no longer pink and onions are translucent.
  2. Remove the pan from the heat. Gently mix in the sweet corn, and sprinkle with taco seasoning to taste. Set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  4. Cut the defrosted puff pastries into 12 rectangular pieces and prick every 6 times with a fork.
  5. Full the center of each pastry tart with the meat mixture. Sprinkle them with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake the pastries for 12 minutes or until they become lightly golden and risen. Serve hot or warm!
